I am discovering that my description of the ego, in my earlier posts, may have been misleading. Often, I call the mind and the ego the same thing. It is important to note that the ego is the part of you that desires control, and superiority. The mind, however, is largely a perceiver. Being that emotions are formulated in the brain, we don’t have to censor ourselves, but live in accordance with wisdom. Wisdom is in the mind. Domination is in the ego. If w try to dismantle the ego with the ego, we are doomed to fail.
