Our Treasure

Like the universe, the Earth rings like a bell too. Unfortunately, humanity rings discordantly. Our politics, our intolerance, our wars all lead to a largely unwelcome place. Sure, there are many oases that we can hold up in, but the world on a large scale is discordant. We need to wake up from our own small selves and live better. When we judge, hate, or attack our diverse world, we are just making ourselves look bad to anybody who’s watching. Not to mention our disregard, on a grand scale, for this Earth that we are so lucky to have. This is a fantastic oasis in vastly deserted cosmos. Native peoples have always known this. How did our foolish hearts miss this, and continue to miss it, for so long?

Say something for me when you meditate:

“Peoples of the world, I smile to you.

May you be at peace in yourselves.

May you be at peace in your families.

May you be at peace in your communities.

May you be at peace in our world.”
