The world of our minds is illusory. The mind is just a complex web of nervous system responses to external stimuli (sufferers of mental illness issues may have a more complex version of these stimuli). Our perceptions, our interpretations, and our emotional reactions are formed by the way in which we interpret the perceivable world.  These formations are not natural to everyone. Our reactions are fit to each of us individually, but are often influenced by group-think and upbringing. Don’t be concerned with what you experience, but be concerned with your responses which come from your greater truth. To me, accepting Karma is a big piece of the puzzle. How long are we going to try to avoid the consequences? This is what I am concerned with: we need to live into ourselves, exactly the way we are... Find the way you interpret the Divine Order phenomenon, and go with it. In my experience, Divine Order and Divine Spontaneity are in a dance, and Order is leading. Remember, the universe is not offended by missteps, but only by intentional harm.

Part of meditation is encountering our perceptions and interpretations in a safe environment. We have to let go of the reactive mind and calmly visit ourselves with the intention of resolving these issues without hurting others. If we are angry, we let go of whatever the trigger is and we encounter our anger within. It is the same with fear. we must encounter it within us, because external things are out of our control. By external I mean emotional and nervous triggers ie: the world. You will feel your anger or fear, possibly in your mind, but in your body as well. Encounter them there and sit with them. Ponder them as phenomenon that arise from “my life”. Practice your loving kindness meditation twice a day, and when these fears or angers arise, practice loving kindness with them too.

The mental conditioning of “my life“ comes from the input in childhood, group-think and beyond. When we just react in our conditioning, we’re not growing. We have to look within. It took a long time for me to realize that looking within was more about dealing with our own drama than it was about finding God. God will show up when he wants. There is nothing we can do about it except to make ourselves available. The Divine Dance is a part of life. Sometimes we're in the lead, and sometimes we're following a wild turn. Either way, this is a ride we can't escape, so we work on our experience of each moment as opposed to trying to wrest control out of the Divine, Living Universe. The more we are capable of letting go of control, and accepting what life is, on life's terms, the more we will be able to have comfort in who we are becoming. Not to worry, there is a great love involved there. Maybe that sounds like hogwash to some, but as someone who has had some of the deepest desolations, I assure you there is love and peace to be had in life.

We learn so much when we encounter ourselves, in our specific situation, in this space and time. Don't hesitate to comment, ask questions or like below.

Peace to you and yours...
